Overdraft Protection Options

Life happens. If your account balance isn’t enough to cover a purchase or withdrawal, our overdraft options are designed to help keep things moving - so your transactions can go through smoothly. You have two ways to protect your Simple Checking account:

Overdraft Coverage from Savings

Automatically transfers available funds from your savings account to cover an overdraft.

  • To enroll, log in to Digital Banking, select Transfer & Pay tab, and choose the account to work with or contact our Member Contact Center.

Overdraft Coverage from Visa®

Uses your American Eagle Visa Credit Card to cover overdraft transactions (a cash advance fee applies).

  • To enroll, log in to Digital Banking, select Transfer & Pay tab (on App, Transfer & Pay is under the More option), and choose the account to work with or contact our Member Contact Center.
