American Eagle is dedicated to building authentic connections with our members. As banking technology changes, we know members may be concerned about receiving an automated, impersonal experience. However, members don’t have to worry about that at American Eagle. Our commitment to connecting with you is why we’ll soon be installing a Video Teller Machine (VTM) in the North Haven branch lobby, similar to the technology currently used in the branch drive-thru.

The Video Teller Machine is a Live, Interactive machine where you can perform simple transactions and interact with a Live person known as a Video Financial Representative (VFR).

No, using a Video Teller Machine is the same as visiting one of our in branch team members. There are no additional fees.
7. Will using the Video Teller Machine be private?
Your conversation will be as private as if you were speaking to a member service representative inside the branch. The on-screen volume can be adjusted, chat or handset are available for additional privacy as well.
8. Can I still use ATM features without a member service representative assisting me on the Video Teller Machine?
Yes! Members can use the VTM solely as an ATM without calling the representative; Member would insert their debit/ATM card and wait for the prompt on the screen.
9. Who are the tellers I’ll be interacting with?
Existing American Eagle Video Financial Representatives who work out of our corporate center right in East Hartford! You may recognize a few of them, as they have worked in some of our locations.

You'll need the following information to get started:
If you opened your account in a branch, you will have a purple card with your Account Number written on the back in your opening package.
If you opened your account online, a confirmation page would have been presented with a link containing your Account Number.
If you cannot find your Account Number, please call our Member Contact Center at 800.842.0145 and be prepared to answer security questions and provide your ID.
