American Eagle Financial Credit Union Fund

We established a Donor-Advised Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving to foster charitable giving and community outreach.

The fund serves as American Eagle Financial Credit Union’s primary source of charitable giving and provides opportunities for the Credit Union, its members, and strategic partners to give financial support to charities in the Greater Hartford area. Recipients of grants from the American Eagle Financial Credit Union Fund will generally fall into one of the three key areas described above.

Monies from the Fund will be used to provide charitable grants to nonprofit organizations in the communities we serve. The American Eagle Financial Credit Union Fund is held and administered by the Hartford Foundation for  Public Giving. The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving is the community foundation for Hartford and 28 surrounding communities. In 2017, the Foundation celebrates 92 years of grant making in the Greater Hartford region, made possible by the gifts of generous individuals, families, and organizations. It has awarded grants of more than $600 million since its founding in 1925. For more information about the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, visit www.hfpg.org or call 860.548.1888.
