A trio of branch managers from American Eagle Financial Credit Union presented a personal finance class to volunteer tutors at Siena Learning Center in New Britain. The Center currently has 58 dedicated volunteers who use the popular Laubach curriculum to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to underserved adult learners, enabling them to be productive members of society. The Center currently serves 100 active learners from 14 countries. The Center has served hundreds of individuals since its founding in 2008 by Sister Virginia Bruen and the Dominican Sisters of Peace.
