"Thank you from all of us at Hands On Hartford for your very generous donation! We are honored to have been chosen to receive this gift and appreciate your compassion for our Hartford neighbors. This donation will help support folks in need of food, health and nutrition, and housing assistance. We also provide Hartford children with nutritious and kid-friendly meals for the weekends. The support and partnership of American Eagle Financial Credit Union makes all of this possible and keeps our community strong," said Barbara Shaw, Executive Director, Hands On Hartford.
"Your donation is so important to the continuation of our work. You’ve made it possible for folks to be that much warmer, enjoy that much more nourishment, stay that much safer from COVID, and hold that much more hope, especially during these challenging times," added Shaw.
