Reissue of Visa EMV Debit Cards to Arrive by November 30

To better enhance your security and future card experience, the Credit Union is in the process of reissuing new EMV debit cards. If you already received your new card in the mail, please activate it for immediate use.

If you have not yet received your new card, you can expect to receive your new EMV debit card in the mail between now and November 30, 2017. Thank you for your patience.

Upon receiving your new card please activate it as soon as possible by:

  1. Calling the number on the sticker attached to the card from your primary phone. You will be prompted to enter your existing Personal Identification Number (PIN), or
  2. Using the card with your existing PIN to perform a transaction at any ATM or point-of-sale retail purchase.
  3. Destroy your old debit card once your new EMV chip card is activated and begin using the new card.

Same card number. Same PIN.
Your card number and PIN remain the same. If you wish to change your PIN, call 866.392.9952 and have your existing PIN available. You may also change your debit card PIN at any American Eagle Financial Credit Union ATM.

New security code. New expiration date.
Your card will have a new 3-digit security code and a new extended expiration date of three to five years. Remember to update this information with any merchants processing automatic payments on this account.
