Electronic Document Delivery Now Available in Online Banking

American Eagle FCU now offers members electronic access to certain year-end tax forms and other financial documents in Online Banking. e-documents provide faster and more efficient delivery of PDF documents vs. paper documents delivered through the U.S. mail.

Notices available through e-documents

  • Form 1098 (Mortgage Interest Paid)
  • Form 1099-INT (Interest Income)
  • Form 1099-R (IRA Distributions)
  • Overdraft notices
  • Certificate maturity notices
  • Consumer loan payment notices
  • Form 5498 (IRA Contributions). Available in May.

How to register for e-documents

  • Log into Online Banking.
  • Select “Documents” from the top red menu bar (previously labeled “e-Statements”).
  • Select “View Documents” under the Documents section.
  • Select the "Online Only" option on the left side of the screen and select the "Save" button.

Important information about e-documents

  • You will receive an email notification when new e-documents are available in Online Banking.
  • All e-documents contain the same information as the paper documents.
  • You may view, save, or print the documents for their own retention and use.
  • e-documents will be available electronically for 18 months from the issue date.
  • Once enrolled for e-documents, you will no longer receive a paper copy. However, you may change back-and-forth between electronic and paper documents at any time.
  • Only the Primary account owner will have access to e-documents in Online Banking.
