Community Involvement 19 CU Employees Make a Difference at Join United Way Day of Caring Nineteen employees from American Eagle Federal Credit Union participated in the Annual United Way Day of Caring on September 7, 2007, at the Living in Safe Alternatives (L.I.S.A.) group home in Plainville, Connecticut.
The Credit Union team joined with employees from Hamilton Sundstrand for a day that included painting, landscaping, window washing, weeding, gardening, and more.
In addition to our time and helpful hands, AEFCU employees also made a generous donation of clothing, cosmetics, health care items, and more to the residents of the Plainville group home.
L.I.S.A. Inc is a private, non-profit organization that has served the needs of abused, abandoned, and neglected youth for 36 years. Their home in Plainville houses young women who have been cared for and nurtured by this program. The Plainville group home provides a safe, secure and structured environment its residents.
