Community Outreach
American Eagle Federal Credit Union is committed to improving the quality of life for the residents of the communities in which we live, work and operate. We will dedicate both monetary donations and personnel resources that focus on areas of importance to our members, employees, and volunteers.

American Eagle Federal Credit Union targets its contributions and volunteer resources to organizations, programs and causes that support three key areas:

·        Education and Youth (emphasis on literacy and personal finance)
      ·        Basic Human Needs (emphasis on food, clothing, and shelter)
      ·        Community Development
Our goal in supporting these organizations, through donations and volunteerism, is to build public recognition of American Eagle Federal Credit Union as a community leader.

Unless a specific exception is granted, the Credit Union does not contribute financial or volunteer support to: religious organizations for direct religious activities; political organizations (campaigns or lobbyists), individuals, fraternal organizations, activities outside the defined geography of our community charter, and projects not aligned with the values, mission, or vision of the Credit Union.

When responding to a solicitation for charitable contributions, the specific criteria listed below must be met in order to consider a request. If all the criteria are met, then a decision to grant or deny the request will be made according to the policy guidelines.
  • The Credit Union may make charitable contributions and/or donate funds to recipients not organized for profit that are located in or conduct activities in a community in which the Credit Union has a place of business or to organizations that are tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Written verification of the organizations 501(c)(3) status must be provided.
  • The soliciting organization shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, age, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, or veteran status in its employment, policies or in the services it provides.
  • Donation/volunteer requests must be submitted in writing by mail, fax, or email to:
