Community Outreach American Eagle Federal Credit Union is committed to improving the quality of life for the residents of the communities in which we live, work and operate. We will dedicate both monetary donations, in-kind support, and personnel resources that focus on areas of importance to our members, employees, and volunteers. American Eagle Federal Credit Union targets its contributions and volunteer resources to organizations, programs and causes that support three key areas: · Education and Youth (emphasis on literacy and personal finance) · Basic Human Needs (emphasis on food, clothing, and shelter) · Community Development Our goal in supporting these organizations, through donations and volunteerism, is to enhance and support the communities that we serve. Unless a specific exception is granted, the Credit Union does not contribute financial or volunteer support to: religious organizations for direct religious activities; political organizations (campaigns or lobbyists), individuals, fraternal organizations, activities outside the defined geography of our community charter, and projects not aligned with the mission, vision, or values of the Credit Union. When responding to a request for charitable contributions, the specific criteria listed below must be met in order to be considered. If all the criteria are met, then a decision to grant or deny the request will be made according to policy guidelines.
