American Eagle FCU Joins Union Business Capital (CUBC) to Introduce Business Services

OCTOBER, 2007 - (East Hartford, CT and Miramar, FL) American Eagle Federal Credit Union (American Eagle) has joined with CU Business Capital, LLC (CUBC) in providing a full range of business services to its members. With the announcement, American Eagle becomes an equity investor of CUBC, a business services CUSO (Credit Union Service Organization).

American Eagle and CUBC have designed programs that will allow American Eagle to offer complete business services programs that include:

·                     Business Loans/Leases & Participations & SBA

·                     Business Deposit Products

·                     Business Checking

·                     Business Certificate and Money Market Accounts

·                     Business on-Line E-Banking

·                     Business Credit and Debit Cards

·                     Remote Deposit Capture

·                     Merchant Services

·                     Consulting and on-going training

·                     Commercial Insurance Products

“CUBC is exactly the type of CUSO we were looking for,” said American Eagle President and CEO William Dokas. “We needed a complete business services program that would complement our existing services and fulfill the needs of our members. We chose CUBC because of their complete product line that included business deposits, eServices, card services and business lending programs. Plus, CUBC’s values aligned well with ours,” said Dokas.

“Adding American Eagle as a partner helps CUBC fulfill its mission of accelerating membership and asset growth for our credit unions,” said Bert Bryan, President of CU Business Capital, LLC. “Including a complete suite of business services with their existing product line will place American Eagle in a unique position to increase market share and membership. American Eagle’s mission is clear and CUBC is honored to play a supporting role,” said Bryan.

American Eagle will become a Tier II equity partner of CUBC, entitling the Credit Union to pricing discounts on CUBC services. This partnership represents another significant step for CUBC’s strategy of enabling credit unions to focus not only on business lending, but also on business deposits and related services. Businesses, associations and other organizations in the area will benefit from this full-service, credit union approach for business banking services.
