(September 10, 2009) Tom Nash of Portland was presented with a 2009 President’s Award by the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (IAFCI). Nash was honored this month for his outstanding contributions to the financial crimes industry at the IAFCI 41st Annual Training Conference in Arizona.
Nash is a Senior Risk Management Analyst for American Eagle Federal Credit Union in East Hartford. He serves as the President of the IAFCI Connecticut Chapter and is an International Director and co-chair of their Training and Education Committee. Nash is recognized nationally as an expert in fraud prevention, identity theft, financial security, and Internet crime. He is a frequent author, presenter, and trainer on these topics.
Nash’s professional credentials include a Certified Protection Professional designation (CPP) and Board Certification in Security Management from the American Society for Industrial Security International. He is also a Certified Financial Crimes Investigator from the IAFCI.
