We are not-for-profit and member-owned. Profits are returned to members in the form of better rates and fewer fees. The field of membership of American Eagle Federal Credit Union includes persons who: Live Work Worship Attend school in and Businesses and other legal entities located in Hartford County, Middlesex County, or Tolland County, Connecticut. Also included are: Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this Credit Union Employees of this Credit Union Volunteers in the community Members of their immediate family or household Organizations of such persons A minimum $5.00 deposit (check or money order, do not send cash) and a completed membership application is required to open a savings account. This deposit makes you a "member-owner" of the Credit Union and entitles you to use the Credit Union's services. Credit Union membership is for life. Regardless of where you live or work, you can retain your membership provided you maintain an open savings account.
