Eligibility
American Eagle Federal Credit Union offers a different approach to financial services. We are not-for-profit and member-owned. Profits are returned to members in the form of better rates and fewer fees. Since 1935, we have served our members well by meeting their day-to-day financial needs. Join our members nationwide who benefit from our outstanding financial services.

The field of membership of American Eagle Federal Credit Union includes persons who:
  • Live
  • Work
  • Worship
  • Attend school in
  • and Businesses and other legal entities
located in Hartford County, Middlesex County, or Tolland County, Connecticut.

Also included are:
  • Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this Credit Union
  • Employees of this Credit Union
  • Volunteers in the community
  • Members of their immediate family or household
  • Organizations of such persons
A minimum $5.00 deposit (check or money order, do not send cash) and a completed membership application is required to open a savings account. This deposit makes you a "member-owner" of the Credit Union and entitles you to use the Credit Union's services. Credit Union membership is for life. Regardless of where you live or work, you can retain your membership provided you maintain an open savings account.
